1. Where is TOTALCARD accepted?
TOTALCARD is accepted at TOTAL, Power, BP and SHELL Service stations with over 3,000 service stations in the UK accepting TOTALCARD. It's one of the most widely accepted fuel cards there is.
2. Is there a surcharge for using my card at BP and Shell?
There is a surcharge of 1 penny per litre at BP and Shell sites.
3. Can the card be used in Europe?
No.
4. How can a driver locate a site?
Drivers can either use our Text Site Locator, by texting "TOTAL" to 83333 to find their nearest site, or call our Site Locator Helpdesk on 0870 111 8928.
They can also download a list of our service stations to their Satellite Navigation System from our web site www.total.co.uk/totalcard or call 0870 111 8942 for a free TOTALCARD site directory.

5. How do I login to my online account?
Go to www.total.co.uk/totalcard and go to "My Account" and click on TOTALCARD Online login, on the right hand side of the page.
6. What sort of information can I find in the online system?
By using our Online System, you will have the facility to manage your cards and view your invoices. Additionally, you can add to your profile additional functions to monitor your fleet for abnormal transactions with email alerts, daily transactions, cost controlling, fleet efficiencies and analyse business expenditure. 7. I would like to view my transactions on line on a daily basis. Is it possible?
Yes, by contacting Customer Services and applying for our TOTAL Business package.

8. Does the card give unlimited spend on fuel?
The credit limit agreed with you will be the maximum that you can spend at each invoice period.. The credit limit is reset at the end of each invoice period.
9. Can I use the card to pay for car wash?
Yes, you can, when setting up your account all you have to do is select the services option. In addition, you will get 10% off your car wash at any TOTAL branded service station. Car Wash facilities can also be added to your card by contacting Customer Services on 0870 111 8942 and your card will be re-issued...
10. Can I select/restrict products which can be purchased on the card?
When you apply for a TOTALCARD you are given the option to choose your required products and services. The products and services can be modified at anytime by contacting customer services on 0870 111 8942 and your new card will be re-issued. .

11. Do I need a PIN?
TOTALCARD uses PIN technology; this helps us to keep your account safe and helps to prevent fraud. Several PIN options are available; including the option of choosing your own 4 digit PIN.

12. Can I receive my invoices electronically?
Yes, your invoices will be available electronically using our Ebill Service on our Online System which is free of charge. If this is not suitable for your business, then you can receive your invoice by paper with an administration charge of £1.00 per month.
If you already have an account and wish to change from a paper invoice to Ebill, please call 0870 111 8942 with your account number and one of our advisors will go through the change process with you.

13. Do I have to pay by Direct Debit?
Yes, all invoices are to be settled by Direct Debit, with the exception of schools, local authorities and charities.
14. Invoice Period
Your invoice frequency can be fortnightly or monthly and payment will be taken 14 days after the invoice date.

15. I need help completing my application form
Please give us a call on 0800 988 8908 and one of our sales advisors we will talk you through the process.
16. Can I put my company name on the card?
Yes, your company name will appear on your cards.
17. How long does it take to open an account?
Once we have received your completed and signed application form, it should take 5 working days for you to receive your cards once your application has been approved by our credit team.
You can have as many cards as required for your account. However, please note there may be monthly fee for your cards. Renewed cards will be issued free of charge.

20. Can I get a personal fuel card account?
TOTALCARD is a business only fuel card. It can be applied for by any limited, partnership company or sole trader.
